Visitations are not an easy task but they always bring me delights. The next morning after our arrival in Jakarta, we drove to a small town at the outskirt of Jakarta to visit a uterine cancer patient by the name of Lim Shihua. When we arrived at her mobile phone shop, she came out to meet us. In 2002, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer at a cancer centre in Indonesia. The tumor was very big and had invaded the adjacent organs. It was unresectable. Her brother working in a factory in Guangzhou brought her for treatment in our hospital. Percutaneous cryosurgery was performed firstly, and then surgery could be perform to remove the tumor completely. Four years ago I met her at the National Cancer Hospital of Indonesia where she had just had ultrasound and tumor marker test and all turned up normal. For the past few years I was anxious about her condition. After a lapse of few years, she remained as warm and cheerful as before. She looked like she never had cancer. I read her recent medical reports and everything was normal. She told me that for the past eight years, she was not under any treatment and nor was worried, too. She had two sons who ran business of their own. She told us that she was proud of her two filial sons.
