Aunt Huang from Hong Kong was recently discharged from Fuda happily! A few days before being discharged, Aunt Huang told the nurses: "I am 76 years old and have undergone many major surgeries in Hong Kong. This time, because there is no other way in Hong Kong, I came to the mainland to find a treatment method. Luckily, I came to Fuda. I didn't expect that my surgery at Fuda went very smoothly and successfully! "
When we first decided on the treatment plan, aunt Huang’s family didn’t approval. It is after the patient explanations of Director Zhu, Director Wang, and Dr. James from the International Affair Department the whole family finally agreed to the surgery and it was a success!
However, the surgical wound healed poorly after the surgery (due to multiple surgeries, long fasting time, and poor nutrition). After discussion between the medical staff, we used low-negative pressure drainage and changed the dressing every other day. Now the wound has healed and she can be discharged!
When aunt Huang was discharged from the hospital, her family repeated that they would come back on time for follow-up treatment! As medical staff, we feel very relieved and accomplished when see the patient recover and be discharged from the hospital and receive recognition and praise from them!
