(#分页标签#)From May 10 to 11, the 2nd Annual Scientific Conference of the Egyptian Society for Treatment by Interventional Radiology (ESTIR) was successfully held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Leading experts from various medical fields gathered to exchange cutting-edge research findings and promote the advancement of clinical practice.

Niu Lizhi, President of Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital, was invited to attend the conference and delivered two keynote presentations on “Cryoablation for Lung Cancer” and “Clinical Applications and Advances in Cryoablation.”

Drawing on extensive clinical experience and detailed data, President Niu systematically explained the significant advantages of cryoablation in the treatment of lung cancer and shared practical solutions to common challenges encountered during procedures. He noted that cryoablation offers multiple benefits, including minimal trauma, reduced bleeding, shorter treatment duration, and faster recovery. In addition, the technique can stimulate systemic immune responses and is applicable to nearly all types of solid tumors, demonstrating broad clinical potential.

Notably, just one month earlier, President Niu had also been invited to speak at Egypt’s National Liver Cancer Conference, where he delivered a presentation titled “Cryoablation for Liver Cancer,” which was highly praised by Egyptian medical professionals.

His invitation to once again participate in a major interventional medicine conference in Egypt highlights China’s growing international influence in the field of tumor cryoablation. Today, an increasing number of countries are introducing and promoting this technology, and China has undoubtedly become one of the global leaders in this field. Chinese medical technologies and equipment are now emerging as a shining symbol of China’s contribution to the Belt and Road Initiative.
