local treatment for pancreatic cancer--brachytherapy and nerve plexus block

A 59-year-old male received physical examination due to pain in the lower back and found a tumor in his pancreas. The tumor measures 3cm and it’s encasing vessels. According to surgical evaluation, the tumor is inoperable. In this case, we will perform brachytherapy and nerve plexus block under the guidance of ultrasound to relieve the patient’s pain, meanwhile control the local tumor which lays a good foundation for further treatment.
