What to do next after 16 years' cancer survival



A patient who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer has survived for 16 years. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2008 and there were repeated metastases in the pelvic cavity, so she came to our hospital underwent ablations to remove the metastases. And then repeat the process when the metastases relapse.


Her case attests our concept “Live with cancer” . However, what to do next? Prof. Xu suggested to adjust immunity, not only PD1/PDL1 inhibitors but also Non-specific basic immunity, for better immune system.
