At the 35th Annual Conference of The Japan Society for Low Temperature Medicine, Dr. Kecheng Xu (president and Chief Physician of Fuda Hospital Cancer Center) was awarded the gold medal first prize for Dr. Xu's outstanding contribution towards the advancement of cryomedicine. As cryosurgery increasingly replaces traditional surgery methods, Fuda Hospital Cancer Center is leading the way with their experience in the technique. To date, Fuda Hospital has performed nearly 5,000 cryosurgery operations.
