In the midsummer of the Goat City (Guangzhou), everything is thriving. On July 11, 2026, the 2026 General Election Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Hospital Newspapers and New Media Communication Committee of the Bethune Spirit Research Association was grandly held at Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital. Under the meticulous guidance of the Bethune Spirit Research Association, the conference was hosted by the Special Committee, co-organized by Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital and China Resources Fuda Pharmaceutical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., and assisted by the Beijing Weixie Yilian International Academy of Medical Sciences.
01 Leaders' Speeches: Earnest Expectations Clarifying the Direction
The opening ceremony was hosted by Sui Fang. More than a hundred leaders of Bethune Spirit Research Association branches and industry experts attended the meeting, including: Deng Linfeng, Full-time Deputy Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of Private Hospitals and Health Community Organizations in Guangdong Province; Li Longchi, Honorary President of the Bethune Spirit Research Association; Chen Tianping, Executive President of the Bethune Spirit Research Association; Qi Yutai, Specially appointed Party-building expert of the former China Health and Family Planning System Ideological and Political Work Promotion Association, and former Executive Vice President & Chief Expert of the Guangdong Health System Ideological and Political Work Promotion Association; Ji Lin, Former Party Committee Secretary of the Second People's Hospital of Guangdong Province; Professor Cao Sansheng, Full-time Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology at the Communication University of China, Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication, and Deputy Dean of the Internet Information Research Institute; Wang De, Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Medical Humanities and Chairman of the Medical Publishing Committee of the China Association for Promotion of Publishing.
Dr. Niu Lizhi, President of Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital, delivered a welcoming speech. As the representative of the co-organizer, he expressed his great honor in building an exchange platform for healthcare communication colleagues nationwide. He stated that Fuda, as a National Key Clinical Specialty Cancer Hospital, has long been deeply involved in the Party-building of non-public medical institutions and medical humanities construction, and would spare no effort to ensure smooth logistical support for the conference.
Deputy Secretary Deng Linfeng spoke highly of the solid achievements made by the Special Committee in healthcare culture promotion, the propagation of Bethune spirit, and the rallying of positive industry energy. He particularly pointed out that:

02 General Election & Commendation: Passing the Torch to Start a New Journey
During the solemn election session, the conference successively read out the official approval for the election, reviewed and approved the work report of the First Board of Directors and the management rules of the Second Board of Directors, voted on and passed the list of organizational members of the new Board of Directors, and successfully completed the handover of the committee flag. With the transition from the old to the new and the passing of the torch, the new leadership team is well-structured and full of vigor, injecting strong momentum into the future development of the committee.
