On the eve of the Asian Cryotherapy Conference, a group of experts from Austria, Indonesia, and Russia visited our hospital for in-depth discussions and exchanges with Fuda specialists. The focus was on the clinical application and development of minimally invasive interventional techniques.
During their visit, the experts observed a variety of procedures, including cryoablation for lung nodules and liver tumors, iodine seed implantation for axillary lymph nodes, NanoKnife ablation for pancreatic and liver tumors, as well as other interventional treatments. President Niu Lizhi and his team provided real-time commentary during the procedures, allowing the visiting experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of tumor cryoablation therapy and to familiarize themselves with cutting-edge technological concepts.
In addition to observing procedures, the experts toured hospital's fundamental departments and inpatient wards, engaging directly with patients. One visiting expert from Indonesia, experiencing leg soreness, even tried traditional Chinese cupping therapy. The unique array of traditional Chinese medical treatments sparked great interest among the visiting experts.
The visitors highly praised Fuda's professional expertise and advanced techniques, acknowledging China's leadership in global medical innovation. They expressed eagerness to strengthen academic exchanges and medical collaborations in the future, aiming to better serve people worldwide.
