Notice of International Society of Cryosurgery (ISC): According to the international electronic communication poll, there would be five members of the new interim board of ISC. Professor Kecheng Xu from Guangzhou Fuda Hospital got the most votes (56.89%) to be the executive member. Dr. Lizhi Niu also from Fuda was elected as conference secretary. In the last 10 years, Guangzhou Fuda Hospital has grown to be a professional cancer hospital featured in cryosurgery under the leadership of Pro. Kecheng Xu. Led by Dr. Lizhi Niu, we have had over 6000 cases of cryosurgeries which is the most number of a single hospital in the world. Pro. Kecheng Xu, Dr. Lizhi Niu and others have published the first work on cryosurgery CRYOTHERAPY FOR CANCER in the world. Pro. Kecheng Xu and Dr. Lizhi Niu achieved “Special Prize for Cryotherapy” in the 14th International Cryosurgery Academic Conference. On March 15th, 2008, in consideration of what Fuda Hospital had achieved in the cryosurgery of cancer, Fuda had become the cryosurgery training centre of the Asian-Pacific region authorized by International Cryosurgery Association. At the same time, Pro. Kecheng Xu, Dr. Lizhi Niu acquired the certificate on cryosurgery training. In the 35th Annual Meeting of Low Temperature Medicine in Japan (2008), Pro. Xu~s article on cryosurgery for pancreatic cancer has achieved the unique gold medal. In the 15th World~s Cryosurgery for Cancer Conference (2009), Fuda Hospital and Mayo Clinic achieved the award of World~s Excellent Cryosurgery Center together.
The election of executive member and secretary is a big step of Fuda~s development of being a better academic and international hospital.

| A brief introduction of International Society of Cryosurgery (ISC): Establishing in 1974, the headquarter of ISC is located in Trieste, Italy. Nowadays, there are more than 1000 members of ISC all over the world. They are professionals engaged in the research and education of cryosurgery, low temperature medicine, low temperature preservation and other related fields of low temperature medicine.
