(21st April, 2008) Both Dr. Franco Lugnani--the president of the International Society of Cryosurgery and also a renowned surgeon in application of cryosurgery for prostates cancer--and Dr. Lizhi Niu--a cryosurgery expert from the Fuda Cancer Center--were invited by many hospital in Spain and Italy to perform cryosurgery on patients while introducing this novel treatment to the local doctors.
In the meantime to encourage the application of cryosurgery in the Asia Pacific, Dr. Lugnani will be collaborating again with Prof. Niu using the same technique on patients at Fuda Cancer Center. Furthermore, Dr. Lugnani had also decided to give free treatment for the first two patients with prostate cancer, as for other patient a lower medical fee will be charged for their treatment.
